The "VAS-161" is an automatic egg inspection machine that examines the developmental state of fertilized eggs used for virus cultivation and removes eggs that cannot be used for vaccine production. It captures the internal state of fertilized eggs using a CCD camera and removes underdeveloped eggs. It can inspect up to 36,000 eggs per hour.
